1. Trekking: To reach Yamunotri temple, visitors have to trek about 6 kilometers from Janaki Chatti town. This trek is both challenging and rewarding, taking you through lush forests and beautiful scenery.

As you trek ascend the path takes you through the dense forests of pine and oak, which provide much needed shade and coolness during the summer months. 2. Hot Springs: On the way to Yamunotri, you will find Surya Kund and Gauri Kund, natural hot springs where devotees can take a holy bath before entering the temple.
